Stop Making Sense 1984
perfect. i could watch this movie a million times and will still cry over the ‘this must be the place’ performance (or just in random places bc everything is great), will still marvel at tina weymouth’s iconic dance near the end of ‘genius of love,’ will still enthusiastically sing to every song, and will still laugh at david byrne in his big suit, the way he passionately shakes his big butt to ‘take me to the river’ while lynne mabry laughs at him. *sings* nothing is better than this!
