    Ok fine fiiiine I’ll admit this David Bowie chap is pretty good at making music. 
    Imagine if you will the climatic moment in a doco or film, when it’s playing a banger and montaging through the protags life, as celebrates their life and all their success… but for over 2 hours. Sat front row of the IMAX and absolutely for overloaded by music and visual sensation. 

    Also I really like heroes but surely the one two punch of being in perks of being a wall flower and sung in German in Jojo rabbit has tanked it’s reputation to pure cringe territory now.

    While yeah sure this means it’s more introspective, thoughtful and rich it looses what i really want in a film, ripped bombastic dudes, epic action scenes and pure toxic viscerality  
    Sorry for the trite comparison but what a year for the Scandinavian tundra.

    Technically masterful, PTA is great at capturing a sense of freedom and nostalgia for the past, in his free flowing camera, and the warm hues that define his laid back aesthetic. The problem is what he seems nostalgic for… a time when people were more casually racist and it was ok? when women were just chill, about being leered on…
