Ernest Calderon’s review published on Letterboxd :
This film earns mega extra points for its vibrant visual pallette and insanely creative edits and visual effects.
The sheer joyous energy of the filmmaking leaps off the screen, and the story can be quite engrossing at times.
However, the quirky style never really did enough for me to overlook some of the shallowness of the characters. I found myself not quite caring about the main love story. I was more invested in the unique directorial choices than the plot itself.
I did quite enjoy checking in on all the side characters though, as they definitely filled in the edges of the world quite well.
Overall I was thoroughly impressed, but not completely head over heels. Still a great film with a distinct artistic approach!
