Raymond’s review published on Letterboxd:
I have to give it to them: a true series finale that gives fitting conclusive ends that are well earned.
Except for one thing: Black Widow.
Her "sacrifice" was completely out of nowhere. Was it a way of atoning for not stepping in and being there for Hawkeye? Bullshit. Felt not great or justified in logic. If anything it's suppose to mirror an identical scene earlier in Infinity War that had much better stakes and reasoning even though both scenes feature the brash killing of two of the strongest MCU heroes. Also: they knew that Gamora was killed by Thanos here before they even left. Silly to not think they didn't think this part through.
Also as someone who hasn't seen Captain Marvel...should I still go? She's barely in the movie and all I wanted was more power lesbian Brie Larson on screen.
Definitely better than infinity war though.
