Caleb’s review published on Letterboxd:
Emma was the last movie I saw in theaters before everything shut down and I did not realize the loose connections between that and this classic coming of age picture until it was too late. While it examines socioeconomics, gender roles, sexual assault and other social topics, if anything, Clueless is about people’s capacity to change. When we meet Cher, she’s vain, selfish and judgmental of others. And though it’s manipulative and selfish, Cher becomes interested in helping other people and sharing her wealth and status. Obviously you should not strive to be like her, but you should strive to be less judgmental and more open to allowing people to learn and grow.
