Caleb’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is definitely a film that should be required viewing in high school. An entertaining, yet harrowing look into how actions affect not only others but yourself as well. I thought Carey Mulligan turned in one of the best performances of 2020 as Cassie; a woman who leads a double life. Barista by day, vigilante by night, scoping out would-be predators and teaching them a lesson they won’t soon forget. Morally dubious, yes, but she’s our representation and that of the millions of people who have suffered unimaginable trauma in their life perpetrated by people who end up getting away with inflicting irreparable damage and pain. So seeing her executing this elaborate plan and for it to end the way it does is kind of strange, almost devoid of the catharsis that had been building up.
