Minions: The Rise of Gru 2022
Okay, you know what? The minions are funny. I was having the most fun when the minions were onscreen. Illumination was right to start making these movies about the minions. Those little fuckers yell and scream and speak some weird mix of Spanish and other languages and hit each other with hammers, and it’s great.

This is one of those movies that will get brought up whenever someone wants to make a point about the importance of sound in filmmaking.
It’s also just an extremely good movie.

Vice 2018
I can’t remember being so repulsed by a film. It’s smug in tone and over-confident in its terrible editing choices. I side on the far left of the political spectrum but even I would call this film a piece of garbage liberal propaganda. It’s not trying to be factual or informative; it’s only interested in painting Cheney as the devil incarnate. This movie isn’t interested in changing people’s minds. It exists solely to validate self-righteous liberals who demonize the right.
