Forrest Gump is quite an endearing and heartwarming movie in many ways. The scenes in Vietnam are both dark, gruelling and sad, as well as absolutely blackly hilarious, and the script is quite witty (plus some of those special effects, damn!). However, I do have one very big problem with the movie; the characters. Forrest seems a little too mentally challenged for how his character probably should be, and his "girlfriend" Jenny is really, really hateable. Forrest Gump is a pretty okay movie. You'll probably enjoy it more than me. Lots of people seem to consider it a classic, even though I don't. Worth a watch.
