Harrison Callifrax’s review published on Letterboxd :
Vampire in Brooklyn is a very stupid 90s movie, but at the same time it becomes suddenly very funny due to how insanely dated and potentially awful it is. What's even funnier is that this is a Wes Craven movie, and yet this is nothing like what you'd expect from him. Nevertheless, Eddie Murphy manages to have a lot of fun with a (mostly) terrible script, creating some very funny moments, and he does a very good job as a sleazy vampire lord. There are also some pretty fun gore effects, so there's always that. Vampire in Brooklyn is definitely so-bad-it's-good, but it's a pretty fun watch at that. Give it a watch if you want some hilariously bad 90s cheese.
