Nowhere near as good as Wandavision but nevertheless, Falcon and The Winter Soldier serves as a great jumping off point for Sam, Bucky, and others as they enter Phase 4. I felt Wandavision took risks with its storytelling that paid off for Marvel and brought new viewership into the MCU. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier felt like a return to traditional Marvel story arc's which aren't necessarily bad, but they don't result in the same sense of "wow factor"…

Anthony Hopkins performance in The Father is possibly one of the best performances of the past decade. As the story continues to unravel Hopkins performance becomes endlessly complex in the most heartbreaking way. It becomes hard to watch, especially in its final moments, but it leaves you with a gravity that brings more awareness to this disease.

From one beat to the next, Mianri invites viewers along to witness the tender, joyous moments of life, while simultaneously showing those that nearly break us. The balance Lee Isaac Chung find in his script is simply perfect. That paired with Emile Mosseri’s brilliant and moving score as well as the beautiful cinematography makes this film feel very special and close.
