She loves me...so suck on that!
Top 5 items from tonight's viewing:
#5 Zoë Bell and Kurt Russell. Could we please have an entire movie that’s just about these two?!?!
#4 This film does a great job of constantly throwing you fake-outs as to where it’s going and what kind of movie it’s going to be. For instance see item #3
#3 The entire Spahn Ranch sequence is a fantastic build up of suspense and even though the outcome is what it is, you don’t feel cheated. It’s a great set piece.
#2 Despite the controversy over the Bruce Lee segment it’s one of the best parts of the movie. I don’t even care that it’s Bruce Lee, it’s just a great scene, and keep in mind this isn’t a historical drama. It’s a fairytale...just as the name implies!
#1 At the start of tonight’s screening the Hollywood Theatre presented 2 outtakes from the movie. The first was an extended scene of the Michael Madsen ‘Bounty Law’ segment, and the second was a deleted scene of Olyphant and Perry’s movie characters arriving in town on a stagecoach. Both will probably appear as extras on a future release, but it was a nice enhancement being able to see them tonight.
