”Today is not a good day”
Sometimes I wake up sore. My legs feel creaky, my back feels stiff or my arms feel tired. I stumble to the shower and mentally whine about how it sucks getting old.
Thankfully, there are films like this that give me a much needed cinematic PUNCH in the face and screams at me how unbelievably lucky I am and how good I’ve got it.
Riz Ahmed completely carries this movie and gives a fantastic performance that’s grounded in reality and never feels emotionally pandering.
If you’ll excuse me, I need to immediately follow this up with a cinematic chaser of the criminally under seen and under appreciated: It’s All Gone Pete Tong
”I understand I have a problem...
I’m asking you, what I can do about it?”
