The book put me to sleep, this film put me to sleep a couple of times, and it's really not very good, especially considering the expectations the name "Lynch" carries...but...it's so weird. I love the way it looks. Kyle's sweet little face. The worms. The costumes. The stupid dialogue...I can't help but get happy whenever I think about it. There really isn't anything else like it. It's like a kid who's trying REALLY hard to be intellectual and cool but he fails completely but you're friends with him anyway because you feel sorta bad for him and something about him is cute and endearing, and you want to like him because everyone else thinks he's such a twat.
