Letterboxd — Your life in film

The latest film by one of the premier contemporary rara avis anti-communist filmmakers. Among his type, he has made the distinction of wistfully calling for anti-Soviet Nuremberg-style trials without a hint of irony but plenty of historical amnesia. One of those dumb films that is its own synopsis and creates its own controversy, and the latter becomes very clear once you see the cut and dry propaganda film its footage is taken from.

Further proof that cinema, the history, production, and reception thereof, was only ever thoroughly bourgeois in the home movies of Jonas Mekas.

Glad Harun Farocki ain't alive to see this shit bruh.
