Wes’s review published on Letterboxd:
Yes the rumors are true i'm super predictable AND annoying for this rating but its how i honestly feel, and how i feel right now is blown away. This is my first viewing since i was a kid, when I had just started to discover classic films like Casablanca. I was semi-aware then of how Orson Welles changed cinema with his techniques and narrative style, but even without these things in mind I still found watching Citizen Kane a breathtaking experience. Completely shakespearean in its scope and compassionate in its search for the true human experience.
