"Here's to the fools who dream, crazy as they may seem."
I never ever ever ever ever ever ever wanted this to end. When the credits rolled I was reduced to a sobbing puddle. Maybe it's because of the last 20 minutes, maybe it's because I relate to Mia's story as someone whos a barista who wants to be in the movie business, maybe it's because this is one of, if not the greatest movie I've ever seen in my life. Maybe it's because of all of these things wrapped together. All I know is, this is the movie we all need right now. I was nervous and scared to pick up that phone and schedule something with my local community college to talk about applying and getting into its film program, but its as if Damien Chazelle wiped it all away in just 2 hours and 8 minutes. A movie I'll watch until the end of time.
