Beautifully atmospherically, brilliantly acted, with superb sound design and riveting tension that had me pulling back from the screen on more than a few occasions.
A mix of “Ouija: Origin of Evil” and “Insidious”, with a dash of “Nightmare on Elm Street”, but all with its own twist. Really, really damn good and very well made all around. It felt like the opening scene to a full lefty film and left me wanting to see the rest of the story.
This is why you should throw away your phone and delete all your social media apps.
I enjoyed the intentional rough editing and mix of styles and resolutions to give the whole thing the air of candid posting, albeit of an increasingly painful and reality-blurring kind. Brilliantly performed, the escalating horror and gruesome climax
Metal Lords, was a lot of fun!
Obviously there is going to be a lot of die hard metal fans out there who are going to shit on this film for not being metal enough, however I would like to see how metal these fans where back in high school, with their Korn hoodies, ridiculous baggie jeans with straps and Slipknot playing in their ears on a anti skip cd player. Fucking gate keepers.

I feel like I have seen The Texas Chainsaw Massacre many times before as it has emended itself deep in the zeitgeist as I have seen all the iconic moments of the film in various top lists and so forth.
However, watching the film in its entirety for the first time, made for uncomfortable captivating viewing and I was compelled to watch. The atmosphere felt thick with heat, sweat and fear, especially watching this on a hot summer evening, but…
