Alexander V’s review published on Letterboxd:
The fascinating story of George Jung, drug kingpin of the 1970's and early 1980s, who at its peak supplied 85% of the cocaine to the US. Blow tells his life story and his rise to drug kingpin and his inevitable fall.
Johnny Depp turns in a convincing, believable performance, portraying him as a misguided, rather than genuine `bad' person. You sense that George's naivete enabled him to take chances and enter an arena to which common sense would otherwise have dictated avoidance, and because of that you are able to sympathize with him all the way to the end.
I have seen this movie now several times and it never fails to entertain me.
