Hereditary is the sort of film that leaves you enthralled from beginning to end. It manages to give us something completely unique within the genre. Everything from the aesthetics to the soundtrack is what gave it its defining tone, and without it, it wouldn’t have given it its charm. Performances were the strongest part about this, it’s what really encapsulated the true horror of the story and were extremely well portrayed. Every aspect of this was so artfully crafted and very attentive to detail. One thing that wasn’t an issue in this was the pacing, it felt like a perfect balance to build up the suspense perfectly. This is a seemingly flawless film that didn’t fail to reel me in any chance it got.
