Cary’s review published on Letterboxd:
One star for every qipao Maggie Cheung had to wear
On a serious note:
A true embodiment of the phrase “every frame a painting”. The dialogue is terse and sparse. But rather than relying on conversations between the characters to advance the plot, the story is instead told through clock ticks, rain drops, and stolen glances.
“Sometimes the words left unsaid are the words that could mean the most.”
