a few good moments but generally what you'd expect. i will never not appreciate werner's narration though

i am completely fucked up right now. the entire audience too. just...fuck. i can’t even speak.

an incredibly thought-provoking dive into the world of teenage instagram stars and the girls they attract. austyn’s live-broadcasted encouragements are nothing radical - even are incredibly repetitive - but are spoken with so much sincerity that they make you love him even more. liza mandelup is clearly able to capture these controversial kids with so much grace - and is never mocking. would have loved to dive even deeper into this world. like EIGHTH GRADE this film makes me so thankful to be out of my pre-pubescent teenage years. but also makes me nostalgic for them.

the moment you realize that this story is personal to the filmmaker is one that makes you completely bought into the rest of it. well done.

completely lovely in every way. the depths that this goes to in four minutes is astounding.

really loved this short. the dynamics that come with adding a third to a relationship is something that is very worth exploring. reminded me of many of the nuances in THE FAVOURITE. every touch and glance carried so much weight. also just objectively beautiful.
