More than any other Rodriguez film I've seen thus far, this showcases his ability to show you the most goofy, over-the-top and ridiculous thing you've ever seen in your life, then hit you with an actually impactful serious moment, and how he can swivel between those two opposites effortlessly.

Spy Kids: All the Time in the World 2011
Yeah, I'm not going to give this the time of day, this one just freaking sucks. Very little of Robert Rodriguez's earnestness is in here, and the end result is indistinguishable from some of the worst the late 2000's and early 2010's had to offer.

It's basically just Into the Spider-Verse again, but without any of the likable characters, stellar animation, or... really, anything that made Into the Spider-Verse good. Any well-crafted scenes or good ideas that manage to crawl their way in there are drowned out by the usual Marvel filler you've already seen repeated over and over.
