One of my better ideas today was to watch this after the original.
It was nice to see the subtle differences and nods while ultimately keeping the heart of the original there.
A great voice voice cast and terrific CGI only made me love it for one reason, I’m not a huge Jungle Book fan by any stretch, it didn’t play a big part in my childhood unfortunately, but The Lion King did. So, I expect extremely great things from next year’s release. I was lucky to see some footage of it and it successfully raised the hairs on the back of my neck. So while the original Jungle Book was a big milestone for Disney, we may have this version to thank for a lot of things in the near future. Well don Jon Favreau.
