Toy Story 4. Not a film anyone needed or necessarily wanted, especially after how Toy Story 3 finished.
I was very apprehensive going into this. I literally grew up with these films. I cherished my Buzz Lightyear figure, never cared to have a Woody one.
I can say this is definitely my least favourite entry into the series, but as you can see from my rating that is no bad thing.
Fair enough, the story exists because of Forky, and I didn’t exactly care for him but he does grow on you, but the adventure our beloved heroes go in is worthy.
It’s funny, charming and has lots of heart.
It thought this was very good up until the last 5 minutes or so, but then it got great.
Happy to say I was welling up and couldn’t help but reflect on the entire road that led us here. It’s worth it.
Toy Story 4 is a must see film and another memorable entry into an already fantastic series of films. The best kids film in years.
