Jay D 's Watching’s review published on Letterboxd:
Two quick things about The Room:
1) It really is not a good movie by most metrics, however the experience of watching it with a crowd of people can definitely be a good time.
2) One detail that's always stuck with me is how strongly Wiseau alleg. identified with the title character upon watching The Talented Mr. Ripley, and how the film was at least partly inspired by that experience(!?). Seriously, this thing's a lot darker and weirder than some people give it credit for.
