This is the definitive film ABOUT filmmaking, and art itself. Everything about this, from the gorgeous cinematography, the excellent story, and the great writing, is masterfully crafted by Fellini. From the moment you see this film's iconic opening, you're hooked. The next two hours afterward proceed to tell a story of a man's life, and how he is able to deal with creativity, passion, art, sexuality, and originality. Now I can definitely see why so many people consider this to be one of the greatest films ever made, and why Martin Scorsese is such a big fan of this himself.
