Craig Duffy’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film really does feel like an ending. It feels like Godard burning off a bunch of old ideas so that he can start from ground zero. Not all of them are hits and it goes on for too long, but it's a great last hurrah for happy Godard. After this film, he and Anna Karina divorced and the political messaging started to really dominate over the interesting cinema. There's still greatness to be found, especially in his OTHER scorched earth film Week-End, but it really was never the same again.
