Japanese animation, sci-fy, fantasy, dramas, romances and all of the weird and good clasics.
No. Horror. :)
Since I was little I've hated horror movies - yes, I'm a scaredy-cat and that's not really what I'm into. (#sorrynotsorry)
Some time has passed since my last masochistic date with a horror movie, I was willing to try this out. Of course It had to be on Halloween and the full moon was an extra kick in the butt. When, if not now?
So, let me start by saying that this indeed, is a masterpiece and I haven't enjoyed…
I must admit, I thought this would be worse. Don't get me wrong, it's very hard to watch, but I do think they made some good choices while making the film, but there are some very weird moments non the less.
While I did not enjoy it entirely, the direction was.. okayish?, the music selection is very enjoyable, the coloring is ok and frankly I quite liked some of the shots - there are a couple od genuine WTF moments of uncomfortable pain and "ughs". All in all, it's not as bad as it looks.
Better than expected, not watching again :)
