On the shortlist for best of the decade. One of those rare movies wherein every member of the cast and crew is working at or near their apex.
A film with an abundance of beauty and melancholy. Seems to have been forgotten over the years and I'm not quite sure why. Rewatching it again this week it still blows you away with it's cinematic vision and definitely deserves a place amongst the better films since the year 2000.
