    I’m not here for all the time we spend trying to convince me that Hunt is not only amazing at saving the world, but also amazing at being a true friend. That because he is so incredibly raw at being a caring person, that this is what enables him to be reason we can sleep peacefully at night. 

    I’m here all day for the sky dives from space, the intense close quarters bathroom brawl, the multi-vehicle Paris chase, and the boarding this helicopter anyway I can bravura. 

    But I’d also trade all of that for more scenes of Vanessa Kirby absolutely devouring everyone on screen.

    Not the trainwreck that it was labeled as upon its initial release. Revisionist history pegs this movie as a misunderstood masterwork. I’m not flying that flag either. 

    Verbinski is at his best during the silent movie, Keaton-inspired, action sequences.

    A film with an abundance of beauty and melancholy. Seems to have been forgotten over the years and I'm not quite sure why. Rewatching it again this week it still blows you away with it's cinematic vision and definitely deserves a place amongst the better films since the year 2000.
