I absolutely love the monster hunter series; however, this is not what I entirely wanted from its theatrical debut. The monster hunter universe is interesting on it's on and does not need this weird military and real-world plotline added onto it.

This movie feels like it was written with two main goals: (1) recycle as many previous plotlines as possible; and (2) launch as many unsuccessful music careers as possible.
