Who has more emotional range: Chris Pratt, Timothée Chalamet, or the rocks in EEAO?
I was prepared for this to be rough, but seeing some of your favorite characters from the original completely uninvolved and uninterested hurts. Then on top of that, you have to deal with the film’s constant pandering to your nostalgia. Can screenwriters, directors, and studios believe again that their audiences are smart enough to “get it”? We shall see.
I’m sure Universal is sad they won’t be able to count on any “dino” bucks to pad their bottom line for the next decade or so. Hopefully by then, they won’t come up with another genetically mutated trilogy that’s even farther from the original vision Spielberg or even Crichton had for Jurassic Park.
