Fantastic low budget debut. Absolutely dying to see what else Avedisian can do since his character is so completely formed and believable in this that it's hard to imagine him as anything but Donald. Beautifully shot too by Sam Fleischner, who also directed a terrific low budget indie called STAND CLEAR OF THE CLOSING DOORS in 2013 and hasn't made a follow-up yet either. This business is fucking brutal!

Pride & Prejudice 2005
Adored the way this was shot. The only Joe Wright film I had seen before this was DARKEST HOUR, which couldn’t have been more boringly directed. But this was splendid in every sense of the word. The scene where Darcy helps Elizabeth into the carriage and then flexes his hand IS cinema! But overall, I found Matthew MacFadyen to be severely lacking as a screen presence and actor. Hard to compete with Keira Knightley though.

Take the Money and Run 1969
I once won a bunch of money on a game show by debating this was the funniest movie of all time. See?
