Considering I've thought Ratcatcher a perfect film for almost twenty years, it's pretty unforgivable that I hadn't seen this until now. Not as poignant but even more uninhibited in a beautiful way. A director who felt encouraged to follow her instincts even deeper. Absolutely shameful it took so long for her to get another film made after this.
