Chad Kohalyk’s review published on Letterboxd:
Talk about a cacophony. Terrible script, terrible songs. My daughter was bored and I felt wayyyy too preached to. Anti-corporatism (associated with rock music), mob mentality, environmental revelationism (associated with gospel music)… it is a mishmash of cross-messaging. There are so many targetted audiences in this film that it is for no one. Seuss doesn't work with so much pre-teen cynicism.
The only reason I give this film a full star is to recognize the work of the artists. The textures in this film were amazing. It looked live action.
