I’ve owned this on Blu-ray for three years or so & recently upgraded it to 4K. My word, the 4K really enhances the visual presentation. That’s one of the many, many positives. The cinematography is flawless. I liked the way it was color graded & the shot choices utilized throughout. The directing, editing & pacing are pitch perfect too. The acting is strong, especially from Anya Taylor Joy. The score is very creepy & one of the best that I have ever heard. Production design, makeup, costume design all have an attention to detail that is seemingly flawless. The script, which includes the writing & dialogue is sublime. The film’s also great at working as both an Art-house film & a Horror Drama. In the end, The Witch is one of my favorite Horror films, 2010’s films & of all time. My highest recommendation!
