the vulnerability hunter poured out into this character and the normalization of therapy for us to just get a brief glimpse of the trans experience and the internalized misogyny along with all the complexities of being alive such as sexuality, heartbreak, codependency, and childhood trauma. this is so important to watch. i haven’t felt like this since i watched moonlight for the first time. hauntingly beautiful and the soundtrack amplified the chilling-ness.
