To preface this, I personally loved the last Jedi, but I know a lot of people did not. I know Many flat out hated it. And that’s fine. You’re entitled to like or dislike whatever you want. But, people took it way to far. Rian Johnson got a lot of shit for that movie and it was very disheartening to see him get death threats and all the crap everyone gave him. BUT, this movie came out and it’s amazing. I take it as him pretty much saying, look you fuckers, I am a good filmmaker and I can make good movies, and he proved himself to everyone. He took all that criticism from the last Jedi And went out and made a great film and it’s commendable to see a director keep going and doing what he loves, even after half a fanbase made him feel like a terrible human being.
