  • Everything Everywhere All at Once

    Everything Everywhere All at Once

    Film of the year.

Emotional, funny, rocky and gorgeous. Every actor played their part and beyond, every costume in the multiverse was amazing and every scene shot beautifully. God bless the Daniels for continuing to make films that perfectly balance the line of humour and tears.

  • Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

A masterpiece; the story, the pacing, the characters and the action all make this film one of a kind. The childlike excitement whilst watching is unmatched but rewatching always feels like the first time for me. The way the story unfolds and the attention to detail in the story, simply no plot holes.

  • Thor: Ragnarok

    Thor: Ragnarok

Best movie in the mcu, go off Taika

  • A Ghost Story

    A Ghost Story

This picture perfect movie was amazing and painful. The aspect ratio added to its beauty and how they used that space with framing was haunting. This film was silent but so loud with each shot showcasing grief and the fragility of time. Due to this silence each shot, sound and song became evermore impactful and spoke volumes over any word said. The editing and camera movements showcased time progression in a unique way. So many brilliant scenes that will stick…

  • Cashback

I watched this cause a cute guy told me to and now I I’m in love with his taste of films. This was an enjoyable fast watch that made me reflect. Oliver Wood was a cutie who was relatable and told the story well.  The film had its funny moments but overall is about the heart and it’s feelings of love and pain which is told beautifully (crush).
The whole film felt like it was an artwork. The narration a…

  • The Social Network

    The Social Network

I see why this is is everyone’s favourite film and I’m on board. It’s 4am and all I can think about is how much of a little bitch JT is and the glock line #bob.
David Fincher just thinks of a movie and it turns out perfectly as he imagined. Every shot with purpose- the push onto JT face telling you everything of what he intends for Wardo. The CGI that is done so well such as the breaths outside the…

  • Jurassic Park

    Jurassic Park

A classic and perfect film. Spielberg is the best director with so many iconic movies.
Nothing can beat the real dinosaurs and I loved the merge of CG with them in some parts. Spielberg loves to keep it realistic and I wish more movies followed suit.  So many iconic scenes and actors that have influence still today. How can you not love this film.

    Clever girl”

  • Sorry to Bother You

    Sorry to Bother You

This film was everything. Satisfying with every shot, showcasing skill with the lighting or blocking. It was written well that would keep me laughing. L.Stanfield did amazing and is beautiful, get that man an Oscar. The outfits were amazing and I would love to wear every pair of those earrings.
This film didn’t only make me laugh but I enjoyed the anti-capitalist statement it makes. The parallels to history of slavery, the examination of politics, media and class are all…

  • Coherence

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Holy fucking shit why haven’t I seen this sooner.
I need to look into this movie and watch it 10 more times.
I can’t believe how this was filmed, Like a fucking murder mystery, so insane. I loved how it was shot; the overexposure, the awkward zoom in and outs and the focus. It was jarring but worked well. I liked the lighting hinting at where they are originally from (red/blue/green). The comet shots looked amazing and I think practical…

  • Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Best Harry Potter movie. Wish Alfonso directed every one as he adds his own magic to it

  • Swiss Army Man

    Swiss Army Man

The soundtrack alone is 5 stars. A movie that makes me cry over farts is an instant favourite.  How is this movie so beautiful and makes every fart and boner just as beautiful.

But maybe everyone’s a little bit. Maybe were all just dying sacks of shit, and maybe all it’ll take is one person to just be okay with that, and then the whole world will be dancing and singing and farting, and everyone will feel a little bit less alone.”
