This film is so beautifully tragic. Aronofsky constantly transitions the film from a modern ballet dancer with an overprotective mother to scenes in a dreamlike state that incorporates in a lot of movies. Portman and Kunis gave strong performances. I liked it, but I appreciate it more as one of the best films I've seen from the 21st century than I enjoy it.
