  Trying to finish all my current watches. Boring format that doesn't really say or do that much. You’d be better off just reading or watching Baldwin himself. I also feel like I would have appreciated if the narrator sounded a bit more like Baldwin but maybe that’s just because his voice is very distinct to me, that kind of witty cadence. Then again, you cannot help but be compelled by his words, even here. And you cannot help but be disturbed by what you see. And we must see them, and that is enough reason to watch this. Definitely important and would definitely share

  Really like how this film emphasises that the choices you don’t make and the things that don’t happen are sometimes just as important as the things that do. I feel like a lot of your 20s is trying to overcome this reality, trying to do everything, sleep with everyone, becoming the best at everything, to make sure you don’t make the wrong choices. But actually that’s just life, meeting the wrong people, doing the wrongs things, meeting the right people and still missing out. Yeah I liked this
