Not even mad I decided to use my last “free” movie of the week (with my AMC membership) to watch this clusterfuck. I was choked up laughing, the woman beside me was snoring, and her husband was perked up in his seat, clawing at his face. What a cash-grabbing, mindless, Michael Bay explosion rip-off disaster. Beautiful.
Can't believe this came out six years ago, I was actually just entering high school around that time.
A great go-to LGBT themed film; certainly has a more realistic and sensible plot than many other LGBT films. The connection felt tangible and relatable, just as it did the last time I saw it. Good work.
An interesting yet touching glimpse at the lives of four young adults trying to find their place in society. Admittedly I don't know much about the French-Algerian War, but it was interesting to see the dynamic surrounding the teens as they navigated through their feelings of lust and love with political currents catching the rest of the movie.
