Travis Lytle’s review published on Letterboxd:
An 85-year-old animated short from Disney's early days, "The Tortoise and the Hare" is a spry but dry retelling of the famous tale. Featuring Max Hare and Toby Tortoise, battling racers on the track, the short comedy rehashes the story of hubris and persistence. The animation is lively and energetic, but the characters are light on energetic personality. Still, it is fun stuff from the dawn of the art form.
