Basically just softcore porn with the sex edited out. This was only watchable with my generic bad movie drinking game, which I’ll describe thusly:

Most bad movies have a few connecting strings that can apply across almost all genres. However, it is skewed towards the schlocky, as you’ll definitely get more drinks the closer you adhere towards the drinking criteria which are as follows—

    GENERIC BAD MOVIE DRINKING GAME

    1. drink when anyone drinks booze onscreen
    2. Drink when anyone…

It was called The Alameda Archives and it was one of the best places to find and rent obscure and hard to find horror and cult films. It was also an excellent book shop and they often played films overhead during store hours and it was always fascinating to drop in and see…

I love a movie that knows exactly what it is and isn’t afraid to commit to taking its absurd premise deadpan seriously, rather than relying on overly self aware “intentional” badness. This is a fucken bad movie about killer flesh eating jeans and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I love it when a movie has a really interesting mystery to grab you right off the bat. I mean, how terrifying would it be to wake up on day and be told nobody could get a hold of or find you for three days? Rewatching this also really helped me piece together this brilliant movie’s beautifully designed plot and I’m dying for a Blu ray release of this in a proper aspect ratio. It’s such a great and underrated scifi mystery giallo, like how many of those are there??

I’m probably in the minority for this opinion but honestly if your goal is photorealism in your animation style, and your setting and world shown is identical in complexity to things we’ve seen in live action sci-fi, WHY WOULD YOU BOTHER ANIMATING IT?! JUST SHOOT THE LIVE ACTION VERSION IF YOU’RE GONNA ANIMATE THE SAME DAMN GUNMETAL GREY SPACE MARINE HOLOGRAM SHIP NONSENSE WEVE SEEN IN THE LAST DECADE OF CRAPPY ALIEN MOVIES

ANYWAY, as for the story itself? I…
