Horror movies are my special interest.
This was fun, kinda funny starting in the second act unfortunately. But I was reading the trivia from the original and it seems like they wanted to created an homage that with today's technology and more of a budget could more faithfully represent some of what the original creators wanted esp. with the larger effigies and the creature design. Not great but like if you're curious and have seen the original it's an interesting take.

Well that was rather frightening. Good atmosphere, good acting from Patrick whatshisface. He's really good at being super creepy. Some good Cronenberg-esque stuff. Good story with a nice neat ending.

Patrick Wilson was perfect casting and perfect acting. True to the novella. A lot of the dialogue was kept. And I think Natali was a good choice because he was able to put on screen what's described more sureally and conceptually in the novel. A fair…
