“We’re a race of Peeping Toms. What people ought to do is get out and look in for a change”

Just an absolutely gorgeous film. Rewatched it for an audio piece I'm doing and god if this ain't the ultimate lockdown three mood ahhhh

Though I'm left with the very important question, how does Jeffries go to the toilet in a full lower body cast??? Hitchcock, I need answers!

Only 8 out of 779 Guantanamo prisoners were charged ever. 3 of those have been overturned. So, 5 charged overall. Out of 779...

Great acting, stunningly shot, Jodie Foster is captivating as always.

The aspect ratio shifting was beautiful. The story is heartbreaking. Tahar Rahim needs to win awards for this.

Roger and Jessica Rabbit are the OG e-girl and podcast bf duo

Also, I would kill to see a thriller where Valiant works to clear Goofy of spy accusations - ah-hyuck! hoo hoo hoo!

If Catherine O’Hara doesn’t play Ms Peacock in the remake then honestly what is the point?!

This was delightful, even more so than I expected. Camp as tits, twists upon twists and I just know I’ll be able to rewatch this over and over

Plus I made a curry whilst watching Tim Curry so that adds to the campiness

Only gripe is that they weren’t wearing monochromatic outfits to fit their characters!

  • Paloma Faith: As I Am

    Paloma Faith: As I Am

    ★★★½

I’ve loved Paloma Faith since I randomly watched her perform on T4 back in 2012. Each album is incredible, her artistic eye is insane and seeing her live in Brighton in 2018 was a joy.

This documentary was a meaningful, important and frank insight into what it means to be: a late-30s female artist, from a working class background, trying to balance a family life with pop tours, whilst trying to break America/Australia, whilst not being stick thin, whilst…

This series really was quite the vision, Wanda ✨

I’d fallen a bit out of love with the MCU recently, a mix of it being so long since anything new had come out and the fact Endgame felt like such an end point

But my GOD, Wanda Maximoff came out full force and this series had me hooked from the first moment. The constant twists and turns and amazing characters were such a delight. And damn, it had some emotional…

  • Lady Macbeth

    Lady Macbeth

    ★★½

An insane performance from Florence Pugh but I’m rating this so low because it just bummed me tf out

There was basically nothing satisfying/enjoyable about this film at all. It wasn’t just bleak in tone but bleak in its intent too, what was it trying to say? Any message trying to be portrayed was so lost imo by making this character so morally reprehensible

I just think the director swung and missed, not just the ball but the whole damn…

“Maybe it’s time for a change in troll management”

A biting exposé on Norway’s biggest hidden secret, the government conspiracy surrounding it and the one heroic, underpaid man keeping the people safe

Let’s just say I won’t be able go on a nighttime walk through the Norwegian woods without fear of these mighty beasts ever again

“Get rid of one monster? Means the next one is waking up inside it’s cave”

I’m speechless, I came to this show having seen RTD’s It’s A Sin knowing that I should have watched Years and Years ages ago. But in all honesty, it felt just as terrifying and poignant today.

This 6-part series blew my freaking mind. That short run of episodes just goes to show the power of television and the media. What Russell T. Davies…
