Maybe it’s because I watched this movie a lot as a young teenager. Maybe it’s just because I love horror anthologies. But this one is a classic in my eyes.

Tape 56: A pretty good wraparound story of horrible people getting their comeuppance. Lean on actual plot but has some good scary moments.

Amateur Night: The best thing in ANY of these VHS movies. Putting it as the first sketch kinda puts a damper on the entire film. This really…

Talk about two amazing performances. Jodie Foster truly is a professional in this movie. Martin Sheen oozes sleaze and creep. Not exactly a horror movie but in the vein of one.

I would recommend. Chilling and effective filmmaking.

“All I'm saying is that if I ever start referring to these as the best years of my life - remind me to kill myself.”

I think that’s the main theme of the film. Don’t get caught up in the past, focus on your future.

That Martha Washington was a hip, hip lady though.

I would absolutely recommend. Truly a timeless film.

    THE ULTIMATE GIALLO MOVIE

This is my second time watching this film. The first time I watched it, it was the English version. This time I watched the Italian, which is about 20 minutes longer. I didn’t really notice too many differences between the two cuts, except maybe some comedy scenes involving Daria Nicoldi’s character.

This movie is great. It’s got thrills, chills, and bloody kills! The mystery of this giallo film isn’t too convoluted for once. David Hemmings and Daria Nicoldi are great and bounce off each other really well.

I would HIGHLY recommend, even if you’re unfamiliar with Giallo.
