Chris Williams’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's slight and unchallenging, but it's a hell of a crowd pleaser. A funny, crazy "let's put on a show" story. There are few pleasures in life like watching Eddie Murphy at the top of his game, and he's fantastic; his charisma and energy are off the charts. But Wesley Snipes is also a riot, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph is the film's beating heart.
