I was supposed to watch this in a film class four years ago, but there was a fire that day and class got cancelled. I have literally not been in the mood to watch it until tonight when I saw Paul Schrader talk about it for the criterion interview (which also delayed me watching Mishima). It’s really good! Kinda surprised I seem to like it more than most people on here. It’s a good script but definitely doesn’t have the weight of something like Frances Ha. The worst part about it is that I’m gonna have to start watching Girls soon.
