    This is light on plot but full of heart. There’s an absence of narrative momentum, which means that the driving force has to be the relationship between Phoenix and Norman. It’s beautiful. B&W or not, the cinematography is gorgeous. 

    The audience sat through the entire credits sequence. That doesn’t happen all that often.
