Christian Doig’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Big Bad Wolf is still --for ever, arguably-- such a great film villain; he is pure evil and absolutely terrifying at first, but turns out to be funny and charismatic, as well; he's like the granddaddy of every memorable baddie that followed afterwards, from Captain Bligh to Darth Vader to Hannibal the Cannibal. If you notice, Practical Pig is so responsible, that he behaves like an adult (and even kind of looks like one in a way, and has an adult speaking voice), while his brothers are obviously childlike or plain children in contrast. Their father's picture always cracks me up! Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
