I was hesitant going in, knowing how bad the franchise has tanked since T2. But Cameron and Hamilton coming back have me hope.

I gotta say, I really liked it. Sure it’s ridiculous in every way imaginable, but it’s a movie about future robots and preventing the end of the world.

Linda Hamilton was fierce and it was so much fun watching her completely own every scene. I’m all about the girl power here because Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes…

The Shia-sance continued with this heart warming and sweet film with great performances all around. Zack Gottsagen has charisma for days and balances the range of emotions extremely well. Shia (weird accent and all) really leans into the role in forming the bond between the two of them and in fulfilling his promise. Dakota Johnson is there too.

Fun little cameos/minor roles by WWE legends Jake Roberts and Mick Foley satiated the wrestling fan in me and John Hawkes, Bruce Dern and Thomas Hayden Church made the movie fan in my happy.

    Really enjoyed this one.

This film reeks of America’s worst side. The side where corporations do whatever they want and get away with it because of their deep pockets. The worst thing about this film is that it’s based on facts.

Mark Ruffalo really dives in here and delivers a fantastic performance. You can really see how the course of events took their toll on his character.

Anne Hathaway - who in no world would every marry a Ruffalo - doesn’t get a ton…

Upped it to 5⭐️ On a rewatch. Everything about this film is supremely well done. The direction, the acting (give Serkis an Oscar already), the emotions, and of course the jaw-dropping rendering of a clan of apes. Woody does his trademark move by enhancing everything he’s in too.

I remember laughing when I heard they were rebooting Planet of the Apes. I never expected it to be one of the best film trilogies of all time.
